Moscow govt says no QR code needed for groceries, pharmacies

MOSCOW, Jun 24 (PRIME) -- The Moscow government’s requirement to show QR codes, proving people’s protection against COVID-19, from June 28 will not apply to grocery stores and pharmacies, the city’s coronavirus response team said on Thursday in a statement.

The authorities also said that tourists planning to visit an eatery or an event in Moscow must show the QR code.

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said earlier that from June 28, only the people with protection against the coronavirus, which can be vaccination, a negative test valid for three days, or those who contracted COVID-19 during the past six months can visit the city’s food and drink venues.
